One method of making maps for the center of a Wheel is to use printouts from Google maps to trace a base sketch of your home place in pencil, as shown in the image on the left. The image on the right shows that the same sketch was copied and placed in the center of a Wheel of the Year, where color and details can be added by hand at any time. This Wheel is now ready for a year of journal-keeping, and more information can be added to the map in the center as needed.
